Lovino "Romano" Vargas is the older of the Italy Brothers, representing the South. Although his part of the country is beautiful with many beaches, he is typically overshadowed by his younger brother who has a more artistic and personable vibe.
In the land of Gods and Monsters
Because of his constant neglect, and the fact that his younger brother is the face of the country, rather than himself, Lovi has grown a bit of a bitter attitude towards everyone and believes everyone is being nice to him just to piss him off and be an asshole, therefore he's less than nice back. Despite the fact that he is jealous of his younger brother's attention - and because of it - he doesn't really know how to accept attention for himself properly.

Lovino is a Catholic, rather devout, which can be a struggle when he ponders upon his sexuality. He is dead set on liking girls, which he does, but he can't help but also have a pull towards men. This is something his wrestles with on a basis, and part of the reason why he is pretty hostile to other men - aside from the attention portion.

Even though he will be mean to his younger brother, he is very protective of him. He can also be pretty cowardly, but when it comes to his brother, he won't stop at anything to make sure he's okay before himself.

The Italian tugged on his scarf and jammed his fists into his pockets. He had Christmas shopping to tend to, although that list was short. He carried a few bags as he walked down the street and huffed slightly as he window shopped and as he looked for things that he thought his little brother would like.
He decided to go find a cafe and get himself a coffee.
